Oana Parvan

Oana was born in Bucarest (Romania) in 1985. She moved to Florence (Italy) when she was fifteen and studied there for five years. She took her degree in Philosophy at the University of Bologna.

She collaborated with the freepress magazine “Il Tamburo” and wrote two short stories for the magazine “Allegria di naufraghi”.

She lately published a letter about the Romanian economic crisis on the newspaper “Il manifesto”.

She is currently studying Semiotics at the University of Bologna and doing research on the Romanian 1989 revolution at the Multimedia Archives of the Romanian public television in Bucarest.
