Giovanni Dursi

Giovanni Dursi is a professor of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Pescara, and former Professor of Philosophy of Education at Urbino University. His academic research revolves mainly around the management of education in the knowledge society and strategies of public communication.

He took part, as a ‘militante di base’, to the recent popular mobilizations for public water, knowledge welfare, critical information, and to the struggles for job security and for a guaranteed basic income. He also took part to the political experience of the new civic organization Bologna Free City.

He is the co-author of the pamphlet "Lanciano città libera ? Lavori in corso fino al 2016" (Edizioni TABULA, Lanciano, May 2011) and of a poetry anthology "Spazio pubblico e desiderio" (Edizioni TABULA FATI, Chieti, May 2013).
