Francesca Martinez Tagliavia currently lives in Paris, where she teaches Aesthetic and Communication at the University of Paris 3 Sorbonne-Nouvelle.

She is doing her PhD research on the intersections between image theory, philosophy of politics, media studies and anthropology, investigating how images are able to change bodies (culturevisuelle.org)

Together with the hundred of comrades who came from all over Europe 11-12-13th February 2011 in Paris, she is working on the foundation of the Knowledge Liberation Front: a trans-national network of struggles aiming for a new system of welfare, against precariousness and supporting the free circulation  both of people and knowledge.
