In Europe these protesters are called (or call themselves) &ldquo;indignant&rdquo; to signify their feelings of surprised anger for an action they have deemed wrong or unjust. In this vein, the Spanish protesters call themselves &ldquo;los indignados.&rdquo; They are <em>indignant</em> because they are losing their jobs, homes, pensions, social securities, public services, and educational programs, because of a debacle outside of their responsibility.
